Here I go again.... Being cooped up during COVID, working from home, and off my normal routine, I had to make a change. The older I get the harder it is to maintain a weight that I am comfortable with and these crazy times didn't help. I'm going to use this 'at home' time to focus on my health and fitness. My weight seems to go up and down 5 pounds and I have a hard time staying under 130. My goals is to get to 125 and stay there so if my weight fluctuates I don't go over 130. Feeling determined to look my best as I turn 54 this year.

Energy and persistence conquer all things (Benjamin Franklin).

Never give up, never quit, never surrender.
You only fail when you stop trying.
There is nothing to hold you back except you.
You can press forward long after you can't. It's a matter of wanting it bad enough.

Your desire to change must be greater than your desire to stay the same.

The bad news is: we are our own worst enemies.
The good news is: we are our own greatest champions.

Fitness Minutes: 22,507

My Goals:
My goal is to drop 10-15 stubborn pounds before I put on a bathing suit this summer.
Plan to exercise 3 times a week.


My Program:
The low carb, high protein and vege diet that always seems to work in the past. Going a bit further this time and following the Beach Body 21 Day Fix Extreme. It is also a low carb, high in protien and vegetables plan, however, this time I am also cutting out the dairy for the first 21 days to jumpstart my weight loss then I will add it back into my diet. Trying to stick to a 1,200 calories intake and will eventually incorporate their exercise plan as well.

    Are you interested in a Challenge?

    The Biggest Loser goes for 10 weeks. It consists of 10 teams participating in weekly Fitness and Nutrition challenges. The Spring challenge will be getting started the beginning of March. It consists of fitness and nutrition challenges that are often in a form of a game. If for some reason you cannot do a challenge then they are modified to meet your needs. Often we do the challenge in a game form, we have BINGO and TIC TAC TOE or seasonally themed. For Winter we had Help Santa Fill His Sleigh, Run Rudolf Run and Super Bowl.
