Hi everyone, welcome to my home page, I'm looking forward to this new journey and hope we can get to know each other and connect in some personal way. I love to talk healthy diet and love to share my Christian faith and love for Jesus Christ with others, my husband more deeply than I thought a person could AND the neatest thing is, he loved me before I was the perfect size 10, 16, 20, 24, 26 big do the sizes go?! LOL! :o)
I love long drives in the country, love journaling, & reading Christian Historical Fiction. I love being healthy enough to go for long walks and site seeing [in my own back yard or state] but hate that I lost sight of that and have ended up back where I started. However, I did it once, I can do it again! and again, and again, and again ... as many tries as it takes I will not give up on myself.
I realized, this isn't about starting over but NEVER giving up... if one day is blown and or one week... it's still best NOT to think of it as GIVING UP, but pressing through. I don't EVER want to class myself as being OFF PROGRAM. That only gives the right to keep on binging.

God gave me some amazing verses this morning about how He was tormented [wounded] for my sin of obesity, my isolation, my giving up and becoming a shut in.. He spoke to me about how He hath borne MY griefs, and carried MY sorrows: it is all the more reason for me to succeed and be thankful for this 2nd chance at bettering my health and yielding my life to Him [to be able to get around like I should be able to]. I no longer want to walk in the shadows of who I was or could be.. but, I am looking at every day of this journey as a day of regaining who I was in Him and who I am called to be NOW. I see deeper, the need to submit to God and not to what's being said about me or to me... God turned on a LIGHT and I'm not a mere shadow of who I was ..but, He is restoring me!

Personal Information:
About myself?

I'm unique, just like everyone else!!! =]

OK, lets, see.. I did Elderly [Live In Home Care] for 16 Years before trying other things.

The BEST JOB? Caring for my husband!!!

Other Information:
Favorite Quotations
"So when the devil throws your sins in your face and declares that you deserve death and hell, tell him this: "I admit that I deserve death and hell, what of it? For I know One who suffered and made satisfaction on my behalf. His name is Jesus Christ, Son of God, and where He is there I shall be also!" (By Martin Luther)
I hear a lot of people say they are of this church or that church [or group], following after that person or this person [doctrinally]; labeled Calvinist, Armenian, Reform, home grown, etc ... come on guys, the Bible says "Is Christ divided?" 1Co 1:13 Only those who are putting their trust in "Christ's" Atonement are going to be saved ... "but cursed is the man that puts their trust & strength in men". Jeremiah 17:5-17

(These are my favorite quotes!) To be a God pleaser, not a man pleaser!!!

Still working on keeping up with my food plan and some small steps of exercise.

Hi Lynn, Sorry to hear about your goodies double posting and messing up your point total. I've heard of others having that problem, too. Leaving comments is great, tho, it's always good to hear from you. It's been a while, and I'd wondered how you're doing. I hope January has been a good month for you. I'm doing okay but put a few pounds back on over the holidays, so am back on track thanks to having just started a 5% challenge and working on getting rid of those (again!)
