This is something that I've gotten very excited about. Our family now has our own blog. We're scatter from sea to shining sea and this keeps us all motivated. I invite you to check it out at

It's been a long winter of trying to hibernate, and adding pounds. The weather is finally beginning to show some promise of spring and I'm ready to get moving again. I have started walking to work again, so after a few weeks I expect to feel a change. A physical change would be very motivating, but I'm looking for an emotional change first.

Man-O-Man I have fallen off the wagon so bad. I'm afraid to step on the scale. I know it won't be good. I'm just like a mamma bear. It's that time of year I put on an extra layer of fat for the winter. This has got me in that whole vicious circle of depression, eatting... My knees are bruised and bloody from praying for a miracle for so long. HELP!!!


I am so jazzed!!! This week I lost 2 pounds and in the past 5 weeks I've lost 6 inches. I have such a wonderful support group at my office. There are 19 women who have decided to improve their health and get rid of (we're not 'losing', because we have no intention of 'finding' it again) some weight in the process. We weigh in every Wednesday. We are so good at being your "Balcony People". We love a celebration. This week we had women dropping 1 to 4 pounds this week. So Awesome!


I'm really excited that Mr Red and I have, once again, decided to take ahold of a new lifestyle that so many call a diet.

We've only been tracking for 3 days and I'm already seeing an improvement. This is good, considering I never thought I had the time to track. This week, I decided I MUST make the time to track. Who knows? I bet pretty soon I'll start exercising. and weighing in, and tracking that too!


So, it seems I've developed a pattern to update this every 6 months. The last update, or blog I announced how tired I am of my inactivity. Confession Time: I'm still dreadfully inactive. Oh, I'm still walking to work most days. I log 1 mile a day. That's not much, but I'm still moving!

Today I pre-ordered THE SPARK. I started logging my intake. I'm really trying to make this work.

It's been a year since I've updated this text. I have become more familiar with the Spark and have joined a few groups. I think SparkPeople are Fabulous!

I'm now a year older and am still making changes to my lifestyle. This will be an ongoing process. My outlook on my life is so much better. I know I am in better control.
