This used to be titled "such an experiment" and I realize now I can't think about it that way. This is what I want, this is my dream for myself, and I can do this.

This is my 3rd account on SP, my 3rd try. Third time's a charm.

I've begun creating the time in my life I need to reach these goals. Now that I'm finally done with overtime at my main job and beginning to work my second job in a way that doesn't bog me down twice a month (instead breaking it into little chunks) I'm having full evenings where I run out of things I want to do. Time was so scare a few weeks ago and now I feel like I'm finally materializing it out of thin air.

Each time I begin an account at SP, I think about what kind of goal I'm going to set. Sometimes I don't set a goal, and that helps for a few weeks until I start to lose my motivation. Other times I've set a goal for months and months in the future, and I find that after a month or two, maybe even three on my longer stretches, I start to feel the progress is fading.

So that's what I'm doing now. I'm setting monthly goals. I'm not going to focus on the "long run", because it seems to far away. I think my main goal being smaller steps will help.
I'm taking it one month at a time.

By September 1st:
Weigh under 166 - My weight my junior year of high school
Buy new clothes

By October 1st:
Weigh under 160 lbs
Decide whether to keep my violin or not before moving

By November 1st:
Weigh under 151 lbs

By December 1st:
Weigh under 140 lbs - BMI under 24.3 - Healthy BMI

By January 1st:
Weigh under 134 lbs

My goal is to get to the gym at least three times a week, hopefully more, since it's summer I want to be in the pool and outside a lot! Trying to stay away from the couch!

I want to stop snacking so frequently and I want to stop eating after 9pm.

My name is Megan, I live in Des Moines, WA and work out at LA Fitness, usually at the Federal Way or Kent location.

I work both from home and in an office doing bookkeeping/marketing and receptionist work. It's stressful sometimes, but working from home a few days a week is totally worth it!
