2014 is outta here!! So much changed in 2014 and not for the better :( My mom had a heart attack and moved in with me, which was and is a big adjustment. In the meantime, I completely let myself go and gained back all the weight I previously lost. We just finished a 10 day vacation and I'm ready to rid this lifestyle once and for all. My weight has once again held me back with pain, not able to have the energy level, and overall feeling crummy. I'm done.

New goals are on the horizon this year including purchasing a house and getting myself back into shape.

I'm already preapproved and am house hunting for something that gives us all, including my mom, our own space. My only other main focus is my weight.
Well it is time to finish what I started! Life is somewhat normal now, finally settled in from the move, and reaping some of the benefits that I craved for so long. Excited to get back to my routine and continue my healthy lifestyle. I started my C25K program over again, have joined a new gym, and am checking out some new Zumba classes. Eating has been going well and happy to finally see the scale move but would be happier when I hit a new size :)

Here's to my next chapter of life! :)

I've been away from Sparkpeople for a little while but not far. I've enjoyed maintaining for a few months, busy at work and with the holidays. I surpirsed the girls with a trip to San Francisco to visit our family over Christmas break. We also took another vacation in January for 10 days- NOLA and a cruise to the western Carribean. Whew, I'm exhausted from all the traveling!

So with all that behind me, I'm ready to start my new year and continue my weight loss journey. I've gained about 10-15 pounds with all the travel, holidays, parties, and lack of exercise. I am excited to get back into my groove and keep on moving and losing. My goal for this year is 75 pounds and to hit my goal. I'm looking forward to setting new fitness goals, finding some fun 5k races, and breaking new personal records.

Outside of weight loss, our other major goal is to move this year. This will be quite a change for the girls and I, but hopefully one that will start a new,exciting chapter. We have new people to meet, new places to see, and ready to get settled closer to work. 2012 was great and I'm looking for a repeat for 2013! :)

I'm excited to get this year started!!

I have set very agressive goals this year in both the weight loss and financial. I will lose 100 pounds this year and be debt free (with the exception of my student loans).

We have two larger vacations scheduled for 2013, but these two major goals need to be accomplished first. Lots of hard work in 2012 but I am ready for it, so BRING IT ON!!!
