I have decided that THIS IS IT! The last time that I intend to start over on this weight loss journey. I am so tired of feeling tired all the time, tired of the knee and back pain. I have been a yo-yo dieter for the past 25 years and now I realize that that has been my problem. I have been looking at this as a diet rather than a lifestyle change. So, today is the start of a new, healthier life!

Since I wrote the above statements in 2016, I have had some successes and some failures. I have lost 30 pounds since that time but I have been stuck for the past 2 years - losing a few pounds and then regaining them. In September and November 2018, I had both knee replacements done. This is the first time in about 10 years that I have little or no knee pain when I walk. This year I am committing myself to a healthier lifestyle to lose weight and preserve my new knee function.

Fitness Minutes: 16,653

My Goals:
Lose 105 lbs.
Increase exercise to preserve knee function.
Decrease the number of medications I take daily.
BP down to normal range.
Lower cholesterol to normal range.

My Program:
Follow Weight Watchers Freestyle Program.
Walk 30 minutes a day 5 days a week (on treadmill or WATP dvds)
Strength training 3 days a week.
Weekly WW meeting and weigh-in.

I enjoy reading almost anything but especially mysteries and romantic suspense. Favorite TV shows: NCIS, Criminal Minds, NCIS New Orleans, I am an RN and was an Army nurse for 7 yrs.
