6/5/2020 Oops! Just a FEW years since I last updated this badboy! I'm popping in... have pretty much shifted to using my fitbit to track movement, and MFP to track intake... and syncing them between each other... but we never forget our 'first'! This place is just special, as are the many friends that may or may not still be around.

Fair warning - if you are away too long, you lose your sparkpoints! They're all gone! I was way up there, too... *sniffle* Since I'm not using this site to really track anything (other than what fitbit syncs), I don't guess I'll ever get back up there to the top again. Oh well! Let's just work on getting me healthy! That was and shall always be the goal!

Winnie... if you see this. I miss ya!


4/26/13 Update - Back in the saddle!

You may have noticed me lurking about, or not... but here I am... still kickin', just not quite as high again yet! Workin' on that.

Time flies... instead of dredging on about the last *cringe* 1.5yrs, or how much was gained or how much ground was lost... just hoppin' back on the wagon, full steam ahead!

So glad to see so many familiar SparkedFriends either still here, or returning as I am! You all make my day!

Without further ado, let's get cracking! I have a hungry belly and calories left to go enjoy some dinner with friends! Let's make the most of this weekend!

6/17/11 Update

OK, Dr visit came & went, but the focus was more on the Mastoiditis than the 'general health'... but at least none of the scrips written were for blood pressure or cholesterol! My HDL is still pretty low, but apparently the ratio is what more concerns him, and it was fine!

Ear/head still aching, but hopefully the Amoxicillin is working its magic. Lord knows the Lortabs do (if their magic is to cause slumber).

Key thing is - no ongoing meds! Wahoo! Get the rest of this weight off, and I'll be even better off!

6/5/11 Update

This week, I'll be having the bloodwork that will determine whether or not I get to stay off the meds I had been on! Say some prayers! I can't say whether I'll take 'em either way ;) but, we'll see!

(PS - changed "Starting Weight" to my actual "lifetime high" back in January - 2+ months before I discovered SP) - yeah, got boring seeing the same 5-6# loss on my ticker over the past week LOL)

Although just getting started in SP, I've been at this seriously since a Dr's appt in January.

Joined the local Y late January then spent about 1.5wks on sick leave from life. When I finally got set up @ the Y with an ID, I signed up on FitLinxx.com, and a few weeks later, saw someone post about SP - and here I am!

Ooh, and I've switched one addiction for another... well, the means to nicotine anyway... I no longer smoke! I vape! It's been 2.5 years since I'd had a real cigarette! I'm amazed and in awe of myself!

New: I've drastically reduced my dietCoke intake to less than 20oz/day on average. I've actually had a few days of NO carbonated beverages! I miss carbonation more than dietCoke - but one doc pretty much demanded I cut out the bubbles :(
