Big News!!! Big News!!! Big News!!! Big News!!!

I had my baby girl -- Maggie Marie -- on February 27th, 2008 :) She weighed in at a mere 5 pounds, 6.6 ounces and was 18 inches long. She is perfectly healthy and a wonderful, much adored addition to our family. Hubby, Big Sister and I are SO in love with her!

I have somewhere between 9 and 14 pounds of baby weight to lose (my weight fluctuates like crazy!) and am getting back into a walking routine slowly but surely. I can't wait to get these pounds off and work on the 50 or so more that I need to shed in order to make my goal of losing 250 pounds!

When I started this journey, I needed to lose 250 pounds -- Currently I've lost 172.4!! I still have a long road ahead, but I'm on my way!

You can see my nutritional goals and some of my favorite types of exercises below. I don't follow any specific diet, I just try to make healthy choices most of the time, and stay within my calorie range.

If you'd like to see before and after pictures (and I use the term "after" loosely, because my weight loss journey continues), there are a few in my photo album, OR you can go to my website at

I eat healthy every single day! I don't deprive myself of things I REALLY want, however I weigh (pun intended) the benefits and detriments before I eat anything tooooo decadent :-) I focus on low fats/good fats, whole grains, fruits, veggies, and lean meats.

    You are an inspiration! I hope I am as far along as you are when I hit my year mark. I started at 333 joined three weeks ago and am at 321 you can see I have a long way to go. Finding people like you who have lost so much and look so beautiful is an inspiration! Keep up the good work!
