I am 29 years old and live with my wonderful husband and our two cats. I love my life. I've always felt pretty good about myself, but I'm really ready to stop the yo-yo dieting and really make some positive changes in my life to be healthier and more active long term. I have a lot of weight to lose, but I'm confident I can do it. My sister said to me, "There isn't any food that will taste better than losing 10 pounds feels" and I want a waistline more than I want a doughnut!! So here I am, determined to lose the weight and committed to be a better me!! :)


I'm aiming to be a healthier me -
I will not be a slave to the scale.

I will be more active.
I will not be a couch potato.
I will make exercise a priority -
It will become routine in my new lifestyle.

I will try to eat the right types of foods
And I will measure out my portions.
I will track everything that I eat.
I will not overeat
And I will not eat out of boredom.
I will try new foods - Yes! Even vegetables!

I will drink lots of water.

I will celebrate my successes
And focus on the positives.
I will work hard to stay on track.
I will get right back on track if I get off track.
I will not let pitfalls and plateaus get me down.
I will push through the pain.

I will do it for my family.
I will do it for my friends.
I will do it for my future.
I will do it for my self-esteem.
I will do it for my well-being.
I will do it for me.

I will visualize a thinner, healthier me
Instead of eating the cookie.

I will be inspired.
I will be ambitious.
I will stay motivated.

    Hi Stew!!! I guess I didnt really realize you can leave comments on each others pages, but cool! :0) Well I am so proud of you for walking 3 miles! Thats excellent! I dont know if you got my text but I did sign up for the Aerobics class! Im excited. First class is tonight. Im nervous but I think it will be fun. I do need to go get some better work out gear though. Ian said we can go this weekend. I just have some lame old ratty stuff to wear. I hope you have a great day!
