I play a game with myself. When I feel hunger pains, I imagine my body tearing into the fat cells and pumping them for energy! Eventually, the hunger pains will diminish. Try an experiment, as everyone is different. Change the percentage of fat, protein and carbs by a few %, say around 5%. You might find you need a few more carbs to feel full. It doesn't take much of a difference and you won't notice it much for a day or two, so if you modify your percentage, stay on it for a week.

Given your work schedule, then yes, you seem to be cutting off the calories at an appropriate time for your body to been breaking them down. I recommend cardio every other day if someone comments they missed a cardio workout, if you consistently do cardio every other day, studies have shown, that the effect is just as good as doing it 5 days straight and taking two off. One of the things this does is break up the repetitive pattern, some weeks you do cardio on sunday, some you don't. However, in my case, I need the structure do to our busy lifestyle, and I suspect you do to. So missing a workout, double the next one.

Yes doing this for a sweet little angel makes it much more er.. ehh... doable!

Thanks for the great comments! I found out about couch to 5k from a friend, who sent me to the cool running website. The link is: http://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_3/18
1.shtml . (Hopefully that will you get there, if not you can Google couch to 5k and look for a link to coolrunning.com.) Cool running also has some other great resources (virtual trainer, as well as tips on how to deal with aches and pains, etc.)

Have fun running! (It really is addictive lol.)
