Jan. 2011 well I have been away to much and for to long so I am back hopefully for awhile. I have maintaned my 20 pound weight loss and have been coasting at my new weight for 5 months and i am ready to take the next step to another 20 pounds.

I purchased the book "A course in weight loss" and I am now working threw the issues that make it hard for me to eat right and loose weight and o boy did I open that pandora box and wish I can close the lid tight and never open it again, but if I do I will never heal that part of me that keeps me fat, so, with much anxiety and sadness rearing it's ugly head I am trying to be coragouse and stick with working it out and loosing weight while I'm at it.

so I am gonna need to lean on you all and feel free to lean on me, could be a bumpy ride!

My Goals:
be healthier and stronger so I can lead a more active lifestyle, on the plus I did backpack for the first time in years last summer on a 10km mountian hike, I must say I am proud of that accomplishement, and I know with more weight loss I will be able to do more of that and easier.


My Program:
July 11 2010
I am 169.5 and doing my happy dance. I lost 20 pounds and another 30 pounds to go.

My plan; no food is off limits, but, I only eat when I am hungry, and I only eat till I feel satisfied NOT full. I don't eat two hour before bed, and I eat my big meal for lunch and a lighter meal for supper. If I want dessert I count it as a meal. I still try to keep what I eat as natural as possible and uncooked most of the time and only eat meat 2 times a week for nutritional purposes.

I work out 30 min. 3 times a week and do weights 2 times a week. Weight loss is slow but it's what I can work with, what I can maintane for life, and that's what I really had to figure out, what plan I can make up that I can do for life, because unless I can do this for life I won't maintane the weight loss.




Personal Information:
I like to live large (no not being overweight) and experience as much as I can in life.

I am childless and sometimes I let it get the best of me and fall into depression but for the most part I try to be optimistic and positive, after all our thoughts create our reality


Other Information:
life is meant to be lived forward, not backwords.



If I can learn to harness these emotions and use them more productively instead of eating, maybe I can really get down to business with loosing weight??

    Yes, this is our first child. I'm happy but stressed. DH is happy. People said he had a glow already LOL

    I've had some morning sickness (definitely should be called something else) and very little appetite. I still have to eat though, especially since my hypoglycemia is worse in the first trimester.

    Hi there...that background pic is from Santorini Greece...and no, I don't live there...LOL...I can dream though! My sister and I went a couple years ago and it was the trip of a lifetime. Absolutely gorgeous! We were like Laverne and Shirley go to Greece...very comical!

    I'm still around. I haven't been very active lately. I found out last month I'm pregnant too. So this delays the weight loss. I've gained back my weight I lost and was gettin ready to try to start back when I found out I was pregnant. So now I'm aiming for a healthy pregnancy and delivery. I'll work on weight loss afterwards. Glad to see you back!
