Hi! My name is Sheri. I am very happily married to my best friend. We have 2 older children and a beautiful grandson. I am currently a full time homemaker after working in education and social work.

I have regained the weight I lost five years ago.😕 I have added hypothyroidism, and high cholesterol to my list of health problems. I find myself binge eating empty calories for comfort, reward and relaxation. I have continued to exercise daily, which is probably the only thing keeping my blood pressure in check!

I know I need help in order to reach my goal of reaching and maintaining a healthy BMI. I'm glad Spark People is here to help me reach my goals!

My Goals:
I'd like to reach and maintain a healthy BMI.

I'd like to make time for myself.

I am seeking balance in my lifestyle, body and my spirit. Binge eating for comfort and recreation does not have a place here! I want to be at peace with myself.

My Program:
Use the nutrition tracker and stay within my range for the day.

I walk daily for 20-60 minutes.

I do other cardio activities, most days such as cycling, DVD's such as Ellen Barrett, Leslie Sansone Walking, Kathy Smith. I do strength training with weights 3 days a week for 20 minutes or more. I also like to do yoga for flexibility and strength several days a week, like Sara Ivanhoe or Yoga Journal, or Yoga Zone.

I think I love Dorothy`s courage, curiosity and big heart!
