    Welcome to SparkPeople and the Fabulous by 40 team! Jump in and have some fun with us! We'll be starting some brand new challenges in January. Right now just start using the site by making small goals (like logging in daily, reading an article, etc.) Once you've got small habits going, you can add in bigger ones (like tracking your food & exercise) and you'll be well on your way!     Congrats on taking the first step into changing your life to a more healthier one by joining the site. Spark is filled with amazing people that will motivate, support and encourage you on your journey. There is so much to learn and discover here, take this one day at a time. A couple of things I would like to suggestion to make you Spark experience a great one.

    1. Make goals for yourself. Each month I make a list of what I want to accomplish that month and break them down to smaller goals to work with week by week. This way the BIG picture doesn't seem so big.

    2. Join Spark teams. There are tons of teams here and you will be able to find ones that fit to what you like or want in a team.

    The key to success here is to be active and you've already started by joining. You will find that everyone is willing to help you out if you need it. Spark friends are here for support, motivation and encouragement. Good luck on your journey to a healthier lifestyle! Again, welcome to the SP family!

    The best advise I can give you is to be active on the sight -- using the Nutrition Tracker, Fitness Tracker, your SparkPage, Message Boards.

    I was on SparkPeople for over a year and a half before I became really active. It has helped with motivation to know I'm not the only one who struggles now and then and to have others help celebrate the WooHoo moments you will have along the way.

    Welcome to SparkPeople Sorry about the JOB, not sure if these are wise words, more like tips: I suggest you log in everyday. Acquaint yourself with the tools because they are key in helping you get to a healthy weight. I love the articles and they have helped me more than I could ever say.

    Have a blast making your page. It is your fingerprint. Change it up & make it your own. Most of us use it as a form of expression and a major source of motivation, really.

    Definitely use the Nutrition tracker, there is nothing like seeing what you are eating day after day in terms of your weight and health. The Nutrition tracker will do this for you so give it a chance. Should you ever need support or have any questions, speak up we have more than our share of people who can help you.
