    Hey there - thanks for the add and welcome to Spark! You'll find a lot of great advice and info here. It sounds like you're in a great place to start training for a competition. I lost a bunch of weight last year and started working out consistently a year and 1/2 ago. I started "officially" training for my first comp 13 weeks out from it. That's when I started dieting for the comp as well. There's tons of info out there - I did it with the help of a trainer who I work with at my local y. Good luck and let me know what I can do to help! It's an awesome experience.
