Good luck Sunny. I've dropped from 166 to 145 and SparkPeople has been a great motivator for me. I live in Wisconsin and today is a cold one so it is hard to get outside for the exercise. Maybe I should put your profile picture of the waves in front of me and ignore the snow at my feet.

Sunny, thanks for visiting my "Plateau" blog. You asked about my other numbers. Everything is about the same as it has been all year as far as measurements, and I'm OK with them. I'm not willing to cut my calories much more since I get weak and wiped-out when I go under 1500. I prefer to eat a little more so I have energy to exercise.

Thanks so much for my trophy! I'm sure it will be my only one, lol. Most of the time all we truly want is to do our jobs and to TEACH! Pats and trophies are always welcome, though!

Retirement is fun, but we do need to find things that are worthwhile to do. Volunteering for non profits is a great way to feel needed and that we are doing something worthwhile. I now serve on the Board of Directors for 2 different organizations in addition to hosting a book study group at my home twice a month. I also attend a meeting for 60+ ladies that has a devotional and meal each month, and usually a service project going on. Now we're collecting things for the children that will be distributed through Samaritans Purse Operation Christmas Child. (There's a web site if you're interested.) I also enjoy the time that I can go to the fitness center in a leisurely manner.

Hope you find that perfect niche! Please let me know what you get into next!
