Hi and welcome to my Spark Page!

Whatever comes up, make your first thought “What would I do if I knew I could not fail?”

Current Goal: Lose 10.lbs by 03/027/12.
Mid Goal: Lose 50+ .lbs by .
Ultimate Goal: Reached by 02/07/13

I'm over worked, stressed, and have had tremendous obstacles in my life in recent years. So I packed the pounds on. Now, I need to do this for me so I can live life, enjoy life now, and stop waiting for some elusive event to happen to make my life perfect. I will succeed!!!

I started working on me before Spark people. I joined a women's social club, weight watchers, started seeing a relationship coach, and a (Christian therapist (because I was overwhelmed by recent tragedies & setbacks in my life) that I just couldn't handle on my own). I was struggling! Then I found Spark people and with the added support and motivation I get here my weight loss has been jumped started. My attitude and the way I deal with things have changed for the better. I know I can succeed at what ever comes now!! I need that daily motivation and challenge I get here.

How did it get to this point? I was a sick child, missed a lot of school. I didn't even know food had a taste until I was 8 and had my tonsials removed. My mom was so happy to see me eat that she gave me what ever I asked for. Soon I didn't want to stop even when mom tried to tell me that I was getting heavy. I felt hurt, unloved by her, and thought she didn't want me to have it. It was the first time I had failed her, my Hero. I guess that was my first experience with failure. My greatest fear is failure and the perfectionist in me (got that from mom too) can't accept failure. So I eat to console myself of any disapproval. That is changing today with this step of admitting that I need to reframe my destructive thoughts and start living, instead of waiting for life to happen to me because I love the dance of life and to get my dance on!

Proverbs 3:5-7 MSG ~ Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don't try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God's voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he's the one who will keep you on track. Don't assume that you know it all. Run to God! Run from evil! Your body will glow with health, your very bones will vibrate with life!

1. Coach Nicole's 6 min. Hips, glutes, thighs video.
2. Stability ball video.
3. Strength training exercises off SparkPeople
4. Coach Nicole's butt busting video.
5. Legs of Steel video
6. Arms and Abs of Steel.

Join Weight Watchers
1.Flex PLAN for diet
For support, account-ability & weigh in.

Personal Information:
Teacher assistant from NC.

I am a Member of the Lumbee tribe of Native Americans in NC. The Lumbees are descendents of the "Lost Colony" and possibly the Croatian Indian tribe. Which would make us ( I guess descendents of Sir Walter Raleigh), since his daughter and granddaughter were among the missing. Who knows, but I do love a great mystery don't you.

Other Information:
My passions are worshiping and praising God first, my family, praying, teaching,studying the Bible, reading all kinds of things. I studied interior decorating and merchandising. I love art, flowers, nature, gardening, DIY projects and teaching. I can do almost any home repair and I even built my head board for my bed. I love teaching and helping others to reach their goals.

    Hey girlfriend!

    I miss you and hope you are well. I am sitting in the airport waiting for a flight to close the chapter of my life that was Ohio. I left the rural north at 6 to catch a bus to a bus to the airport. These little transfers are a nice way to relax and let someone else worry about the road. Sunday I will driving the uhaul back to NH and then school starts.

    How is your daughter? So much to catch up on! When your schedule permits, I would love to hear from and will wait patiently until then

    Thanks for the comments! The Jillian Michaels DVDs are great. I have been doing one or two a day for a week and a half and have lost about 4 pounds. Plus I've seen toning--my lower belly pooch is disappearing fast! You should try the 30 day shred. It goes in levels so you can start out with the easier workouts and progress to the harder ones when you're ready. emoticon
