I have dieted and lost and gained more times than I can remember and I'm tired of the ups and downs and the feelings of failure. I am ready to take charge of my life and make me into the best me I can be. I am tired of the love/hate relationship with food and the guilt that comes every time I lose the battle. This time I AM going to win the war and conquer food's control over me. We are going to come to a truce where we can both survive and mutually appreciate each other. I want to lose about 100 pounds, get off my medication, and walk to the top of the Sears (Willis) Tower. I can do this...we ALL can do this!

Fitness Minutes: 18,124

My Goals:
Short Term;
1) 1000 fitness minutes each month.

2)Hit the fitbit levels.

3)Eat mostly vegan & vegetarian.


Long Term:
1) Get to 115-120 pounds.

2) Enjoy looking at myself in the mirror.

3) Intergrate cardio and weight lifting for a solid 5-6 workouts per week.

4) Get to a point that exercise becomes a natural part of my day.

5) Wear skirts and dresses without pantyhose and have my thighs not rub together.

6) Make healthy food selections second nature.

7) Feel good about myself and how I look.


My Program:
I try to work out 5-6 times per week doing 30-45 minutes per day. Right now it is solely my Lifecycle bike but my goal is to add strength training.

I am tracking my food as well but, at least so far, don't do a great job of staying within range consistently. Tracking is better than not but my goal is to get better at planning meals and sticking to the menu rather than going rogue at the last minute.

    Smoothie was awesome- thanks! I had an attitude turn around when I really did my motivation board. I update that often and set my intention daily. Try it- or completely redo it. See if it sparks an upward tic. Best! hugs!
