I am looking to lose a LOT of weight, so that I'm not the "fat mom" when my son starts school. I think about the way that I am teaching my son on his self-esteem and then I think about how I look at myself and I realize I'm not "practicing what I preach". I realize that if I keep saying mommy is fat to him, then one day he'll tell me that I'm fat. I just need a LOT of work in a LOT of areas to achieve the goals that I've set for myself (realistic or not!).

My Goals:
My goals are to be able to strip for my husband without being emabarrassed about the fat jiggling (sorry mom). I have to admit that is probably one of my husbands goals too.
I would like to be able to keep up with my 3 year old and to be able to have another little one soon and not have to worry about weight complications (and looking pregnant instead of just fat would be a bonus!)

My Program:
My mom and my sister are going to be my biggest program considering they belong too. I belong to the YMCA but don't really go, because of various excuses I make. I guess whatever will work will be my plan.

Personal Information:
My name is Holly and I'm from KCMO. I am a nurse and a mom to a wonderful but exhausting 3 year old and a wife to an equally exhausting husband of 4 years. I've tried thousands if not millions of times to lose weight, but an excuse always comes up, usually I blame work, but I'm really just lazy. If you can't tell I like to use humor to disguise how disgusted I am with my weight. I'm always known as the funny one because I can always make fun of myself before someone else does. It's hard to tell my son that mommy used to play sports in high school and in college because I don't look like I did once upon a time.

Other Information:
I'm a tom boy at heart and hate wearing makeup, but I do. My favorite movie in the entire world is a League of their own, and I can probably say the entire script by heart if you were to ask me.

    Holly .. Ohh how I miss you! Ok so this past weekend we were in Minnesota visiting grandma and Rachel gave me the nicest compliment. Renee you have lost weight.. what have you been doing? I dont think that I have lost any weight but it was nice to hear... she is on a diet too (love your blog from earlier this year about lifestyle change) Anywho .. Tim & Marvic came and they are just so cute blah blah blah but they are going to or try to come to Illinois for the 4th of July and I am thinking that I need to get back on track and lose weight .. I dont want to be the fat cousin when they are here and then with my new niece/nephew due in November I dont want to be the fat aunt either. Low and behold I get an email with sparkpeople on it today and that is my motivation.. so long story short I am glad to see you back on here too. We can do this together even though we are hunderds of miles apart. When you see me the end of next month I am going to look FABULOUS!! And so are you!! I am proud of you!! Love you love you love you!! ohh is Andy on here too?

My positive attitude is what is different for me this time. ELIMINATING EXCUSES is my mantra... Only positive thoughts and motivational’s the elusive key to weight-loss success and a happy life!

I can't tell you how proud I am of you. Love you!! Thanks for letting me stay at your house too. Sorry I couldn't stay until you got home from work yesterday. I was too tired and anxious to get home so I can get back to my routine of working out!! Who would of thunk it huh?? LoL
