When I started my transformation, I noticed how badly really fat people are treated sometimes...especially at the gym. So I had to develop this attitude that, "Hey! I'm fat and I need to be here. I don't care what you think about me! I'm this gym's Token Fat Guy!"

Wearing my custom made Token Fat Guy shirt, with my starting weight on the back in a HUGE FONT so people on the row of treadmills behind me can read it, I push myself just a little harder each week. And each week I drop just a tiny bit more at the scales.

NOTE: Now that I've lost a large amount of weight, I'm getting lots of people telling me that I need to change my name from TokenFatGuy. But since I still am in a position of trying to help people with their transformations, I will keep the name for now. Plus, I own and changing the domain name would just be a big hassle.

Want to find out how I did it? Read my blogs. Everytime I learn something new, I write about it. Everytime I make a change to my diet and/or workout...I write about it. Every Monday, like clockwork, I update my blog with new information.

I had something happen in my life that really messed me up in the head. Because of it, I couldn't maintain focus or even maintain my weight. After a year of feeling sorry for myself I decided enough was enough. So I'm back to lose it all over again.

A note to anyone that reads this and thinks, "oh if I lost all my weight, I'd NEVER put it back on again" happens much easier than you'd think. Maintaining focus is everything. I learned the hard way.

**Even Newer Beginning**
I couldn't seem to get back on track. Every attempt to regain whatever it was that allowed me to lose weight the first time was met with failure. Its a new year and I'm going to try again. I'm going to get it right this time. I have to.

I'm about to be a grandfather.

My Goals:
My overall weight goal is to get down to 180...then I'll figure out what I want to do next. I started out at 292 pounds.

However, I did once get down to 199. But I messed it up and shot up to 307. Now I'm back to do it all over again.

My Program:
I do weight lifting 3 times a week and cardio 3 times a week. Sometimes I take an hour long walk in the afternoons just to jump start my metabolism after hours of sitting at my computer.

Personal Information:
Originally from Niles, MI...I've moved to Charlotte, NC where I laugh at the people that just can't drive when there is snow.

I run my own website to track my progress.

Check it out....

I came across your page by pure accident. I was reading some of the things you wrote. "Just because you lose the weight doesn't mean you can't regain it." Something I really needed to hear. I entered into Onederland last July & regained 40 lbs. back just like that! emoticon Fortunately I'm back on track. I'm starting to get the healthy eating thing right. If I could only start exercising now. I hate exercise! Wishing you the best on your weight loss journey. Linda
