Met my goal listed weigh between 151.5 lbs wearing size 8 pants... Try to refresh my attitude every week, if not every day to work my program and stay on top of the rules of my WLS and deal with my struggle with food/exercise each day to keep the current life I have... and continue becoming healther and better in all areas of my life by each and every day!
I started this journey weighing my all time high of 312 lbs on 09/30/08... I had barriactric surgery on 01/28/09 and weighed in at 269 (11 lbs below the required weight for the surgery)logging my food choices here, tracking my protein, calories, carbs, portion size, water...

My Goals:
To ultimately get to a BMI of 24... 1st time my new years resolution is not to lose weight...but to get more activity in and become even more fit... and work on other excess weights, burdens, and baggage in my life!

My Program:
Day by Day... like an alcoholic or an struggle with food and weight is a daily one...I am learning how to live, eat, exercise and make healthier choices for myself after having weight loss surgery on Jan. 28, 2009.

Personal Information:
I live in Northern California (Santa Rosa)... approx. 1 hr north of San francisco. I am happily married with 4 children, twin 16 yr old boys, a 16 yr old step daughter, and a 10 yr old daughter. I work full time, and am learning to take care of myself as a priority...along with everyone else that I care for. My name is Susan.

Other Information:
I really enjoy my Sunday walking group with great friends.. we walk between 3 to 7 miles, great conversation, good exercise, nice to be outside! I Love to swim, enjoy playing at tennis and body boarding at the beach, and exploring new things, people and places.

    Hope your doing OK? I know we got a lot of crap going on at work which isn't good for any of us...But I wanted to say Howdy just the same. I've been sick the past three days....I'm looking forward to feeling better soon.

    Thanks for telling me about SparkPeople. I'm starting to use the sight more and more now...... I'm using the fitness page to help me stay on track to meet my goal and trying to get involved with a support group.
