I'm the one in the middleMy husband and IThis best shows my "before" figure, with all its rollsThis helps me envision myself lean. I can see where I want to have muscle mass, instead of fat. Happy Halloween!!! Experienced my fastest 5k. First of the year, first in a year, starting off on a strong foot. Also, SO MUCH POSITIVE SELF TALK AND CARESo hard to break up with diet culture, especially the scale. I'm haunted by the high stepping on it brings. But now is the time for making good choices, regardless of weightTopping out at 354 today. Year's goals: get my blood sugar under control by complimenting my meds with diet and exercise#BeforeAndAfter
It is day 3 and already my blood sugar is appreciating my exercise regimen, within reason. This is my new high. 354 lbs. Trying not to listen to the stubborn scale, but rather, my A1C and fasting labs.My brain did not want to go to the gym today. I wasn't sore, just not willing to put forth the emotional energy. But I went, and was easy on myself. Every step counts. #BeforeAndAfterMay I never let my size keep me from being comfortable, from believing I'm beautiful, from dressing for the weather, from being confident.
And I wish the same for you. You're worthy and valued at every size, weight, and step of your journey. Keep sparking."TBH, I do it for the 'gram"
I've laughed with my friends as I shared my photos online to like my status, I'm not doing this for my health after all!
I say that, but I checked my glucose before the run. It was, post meal, 190. Then I scrolled back to the day I got diagnosed: 515 fasting on July 30th, 2019. I've come so farNot quite my usual 5k, but still the furthest since the pandemic appeared in my country.Hitting 10,000 steps always felt far out of reach, but I did it today
