Completed a virtual marathon on my treadmill...it was awful after mile 8 or so...but I FINISHED! finished 26.2 miles!has realized there are no tricks to maintaining weightloss...it is an EVERY DAY EVENT! Day 2, of creating a streak! That is where this pandemic destroyed my outlook, my routines and goals when it all got put on pause. I have begun to slowly emerge from that chaos. Last week was the first time since March where I ran outside and yesterday was the second. Baby steps but I am creating a new "normal" and it is exhausting ðŸ™‚Day 5 of my workout streak completed, WooHoo!Day 6, is in the bag. Have a happy Sunday.It was tough getting out the door this morning BUT I did it, Whoop, Whoop! Day 8Day 12 Workout Streak! It is getting harder to find and keep the motivation but I will make it to 31 daysðŸ™„Day 13. Wanted to go for a run but I didn't want to go for a run. Made it an elliptical day with some weights. Got my new 60" bar yesterday, excited!was trying to get a photo....Workout #24!made it happen. Workout streak #25!Workout streak day 29!Day 30!Workout streak day 32, COMPLETED! Got It! Workout streak day 33! The run was rough this morning....maybe it was the rain or the poor eating this weekend? Who knows, but I still did it despite being uncomfortableðŸ‘Got It! Ran my first in person race since March 2020. Didn't win my age group but got 3rd, despite being slow. Half Marathon #37! I had a huge GPS failure but I learned something new about my Garmin...and I won't repeat it.completed Half number 37!Everything has been harder than before, but I still show up. I will be running the entire thing on my dreadmill as I still don't like to go outside with the virus going around. Even with a cold.has completed #34!I made a goal of running my 40th Half Marathon before September when I turn 4-0. After week 8, I was cleared for all exercises and I officially started running again. After 1, outside 2.3mile run...I figured I would do this! 6.55 miles non-stop! I feel amazing! Getting in shape helps recovery SO MUCH! has another race in the books! is just remembering how far she has come...is having an amazing hair day.Good morning! Serious training begins mid-May!I had big goals last week and this week....but my cat was more important. After 16 years together her first real health issue was her last. We have been together since college, today she is sleeping and has no more pain. I did not gain though, i am happy with that.Loved pulling this off the shelf and it fitting! has recovered from her 21st Half Marathon.has now completed 20! has recovered from #19!Never made a goal when I started running Half Marathons 5 years ago at 238lbs. Through highs and lows and amazing PR's though my goal came to life this year. Here is Half Marathon #19 and in 2 weeks at the same race, exactly 5 years later I will be finishing #20.
