YAY FOR FRIDAY! TGIF- the weekend is here at last! Today I was sooo good on my diet [well so far]... I had a sandwich with Turkey and Saurkraut, and I DIDN'T EAT THE BREAD! HOOAH! Yea! I got it on wheat- and took one bite- and was like NO I have worked TOO hard to ruin it on 12 carbs for one slice of bread [24 for two!] NOT WORTH IT! I lost like .5 pounds since yesterday- but hey- I WILL TAKE IT! LOL Better a loss than a gain. I even WALKED accross the [up a hill]- to go get my lunch- once I got outside it was so refreshing- wish I could have stayed out there! But time to get back to work....

Still fighting! Still eating healthy- had one glass of water- about to go get another! Just wanted to share how much better I feel already- and healthier too... MORE TO COME!!!!!!

    I echo Nellie's wise words... Carbs are not evil, you NEED the right ones just as much as you don't need the others... Being healthy is about being balanced... SO glad you are beginning to feel the wonderful effects of a healthier life!! Keep up the great work!! emoticon Kristin

    I take it that you are on a low carb diet. Just remember that eventually you need to add some good carbs back into your diet to avoid malnutrition. Sounds like you are being careful with both diet and exercise! Yay!
