On one Hand...... But On The Other Hand

Sunday, July 13, 2008

On one Hand I am so happy with myself as I went out for the first time with a new walking group at 5 am and I did six miles, walking and running (if you want to call my little jog that...lol). I averaged 15 min miles. I think the most I've ever walked at one time is 4 miles but I've done up to 8 by splitting it out during the day. When I was on my way home another person that I walk ith during the week called and asked what I was doing. I told her I just finished 6 miles, she was calling to ask me to walk and what did I do? I said I'll walk with you so I met her at a different location and did 2 more miles! WooHoo I was covering some tracks on Saturday.

On the other hand I feel like screaming because from all of that and plus I worked at my church yesterday for 5 hours when I got on the scale this moring I had not lost one freaking pound. emoticon

I was so busy getting things done yesterday that I know I was under my calorie count but I would have thought I'd drop at least a few ozs...... my feelings were a little hurt.

My new walking group is actually in training for a marathon next year so I'm looking forward to actually running in a few months as the weight comes off.

My activities for the week prompted a warning from sparks nutrution to up my calories so I'll make that my goal for the week to balance out my activities with my food intake.
