DEDICATION AND DETERMINATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Due to a late night on Friday I overslept for my Saturday 6 mile walk/jog. We start at 5 am and that's exactly the time I woke up. I was very upset that I had missed the walk and then I thought it's not like the group isn't on the trail I need to go anyway. I thought the weather is so nice this morning it's a perfect morning for the outing, etc,etc, So after about a 5 min debate with myself while I gathered my workout clothes yet still kept looking at my bed to crawl back in..... I walked out the door.

At first I thought I'll only do 4 miles and pick up the other 2 later in the day. I figured that would allow me to catch up with the group and not have everyone waiting for me to comeback in. Well I meet the first person on their way back right after my mile 2 which would have been their 4 mile. I determine I'll go 2.5 and then turn around for 5.

When I hit 2.5 I felt really good and thought just go ahead and do the whole six so with a determined mine I went on. Well not only was I not the last one to come in I even cut 5 mins off of my time.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! emoticon

I used the count technique someone shared last week and I was no where near as winded as I have been in the past and I jogged a part of every mile, even at mile 5

I am Dedciated to this to this journey and Determined I don't want to take it again. I won't mind maintaining the lifestyle journey I just don't want to be at the starting point anymore in life.

Stepping on the scale for my weigh-in I was down two lbs and it's TOM!!!!!!

    Could you please tell me what the count technique is? I walk everyday, I would love to jog but I have a hard time because I am constantly loosing my breath any suggestions? Those to words for the day are great.
