New low weight, and pregnant again

Sunday, August 24, 2008

It figures! I just joined Weight Watchers about 2 weeks ago now, and just days later I found out that I'm pregnant again. (Nope, not planned.) I've still been tracking my points, but allowing more than I otherwise would if I'm hungry. I've been active, too, so in those two weeks I've lost about 5 lbs. That's great, but it's also such a tease, since I know it won't last very long--and of course it shouldn't. But just today I saw a new number that I haven't seen since BEFORE having my FIRST child: 162.

Ah, que sera, sera. Or however you spell that. I'm a mom. This is what I do. And my time will come someday. I just hope it's sometime in the next 5 years...if only for a week or two! :)

I look at the new number as a win... yes, you'll put on some healthy weight for the baby, but in the end, it's less you have to lose after your blessing arrives. :) emoticon

Well congrats to you for both of your successes :-) And don't worry, you get a gold star for spelling! I know it seems ironic that just as you see a new low in weight loss something happens that will make you gain weight whether you want to or not. But at least now you know YOU CAN DO IT, and when the time comes you'll see those numbers again, and probably lower ones too.

And I'm not going anywhere, so I'll be here when you get back. :-)
