How do you find time to exercise with kids?
That's such a great question. So many people do creative things to fit their exercise into their families schedule. There's no 'one size fits all' answer.
One thing that I think all of us who are moms and regular exercisers can attest to is that exercise is a top priority for the day.
For us I try to get up early. This is a joke, because as soon as I get up my daughters wake up. It's like they have little "mommy's awake" sensors or something. So when I exercise it's with them. I take them in the jogger, they play on the floor while I run on the treadmill or while I lift weights. (I call it the toddler challenge. It is a challenge to lift weights safely with kids hanging around!)
If we were able to join a gym right now, I'd totally go for that option. The childcare area at the local gym is excellent, so I could take them along and they'd have fun too. Or I'd get up earlier and go when they open and leave the kids with their dad, sound asleep.
Anyway, do whatever it takes to fit it in. I was just telling my husband yesterday that I have 100% MORE patience if I take time to run in the morning. It's miraculous. ;)
