Well I went to my Weight Watchers meeting tonight and they revealed their new plan. It's called the Momentum plan and I am really excited about it. It's not all that different from the old plan but it focuses on eating more foods that are more filling for you. That is an area that I really lack in. It's so easy to just eat whatever as long as you stay withing your calorie/points. ranges, but in actuality when we do that we aren't caring for our bodies the way we should. My biggest realization was that eating the filling foods like fruits, veggies, whole grains, etc. it's about making changes that will stick with me forever. Also becoming very important is listening to my body's hunger signals. When we listen to when our body really needs food we are eating to live instead of living to eat. This is something that I have struggled with my entire life because I am an emotional eater. It's so hard to break away from that. I'm getting better at it, but it's hard. I think this new plan is going to do great things for me. I'm excited to train myself to eat the way I know I should have been eating for years. Once it becomes second nature to choose veggies over french fries or something similar, I will really feel like I've made a great accomplishment.

    I'm glad you liked the new plan. The part about eating only when you're hungry is especially intriguing to me. It's something I too have always struggled with. I would love to be able to focus more on that. If you learn any fabulous tips let me know!

    Those are great ideas for filling foods. I know you can change your diet to incooperate more of them in your meals. Good luck making those changes and like you said you'll feel better making those healthier choices for life.

    We have our WW meeting tomorrow think that is when we hear about the new plan.

    French fries are a hard one for me to pass up on emoticon But I do better and don't have them often! emoticon

    Your doing great! I know you will continue to improve. So many ofus are emotional eaters and it is hard to recognize and then make the changes! Your doing it though!! emoticon emoticon

    Weight watchers was a better program in the old days before the points system, other companies are now cashing in on this idea with satisifaction and have been doing it for ages.. I will be a life time member 2 years week 9 next year without paying for a single meeting, since I changed to another company.
