Day 2/ New Face of ATKINS

Tuesday, January 06, 2009

Okay Atkins never looked so good! LOL I use to love watching Courtney Thorne-Smith on Melrose Place! Memories! LOL

Okay Day 2 and so far Mood Swings are down and I am feeling pretty great! [Hope thats still true later on this afternoon]. A lot to do today I get off of work at 2:30 gotta go to my daughters school for a meeting- so I am missing lunch- [and I actually missed breakfast b/c of time! NOT GOOD]- but praying that I can still stick to my guns and not go all crazy when I do eat. I printed a few recipes from the Low Carb menus off of here -Gotta love SP's recipes! SOOO many delicious ones to choose from. Can't wait to try them out! Tonight I think I may do the meatballs with broccoli or chicken casserole [atkins style] with aspargus... hmmm decisions desicions- either way I can not wait! ;p
Hope everyone has a sparktastic day.

When I did Atkins, I really liked the fast results! It was such a high to lose weight almost daily and to check my Keto stick! I don't think I could live low-carb forever though, I have kind of proven that I can't!

Just so long as you do move through the stages of Atkins. It wouldn't be good to prolong the first stage which is so low-carb that it can be dangerous if done too long.

However, Atkins is very good to make you more aware of the carbs in your life -- and if you pay attention to getting more fiber which isn't counted in the net carbs, it can be a godsend for your innards!!!

    May God bless you!
