Newest Addition

Wednesday, January 21, 2009

Well it's been a busy start to my year, but so far so good. Jan 11 - we welcomed the newest addition to our family - my sister's little boy - Reid Walker - he is adorable. My mom and I came out to help her and her family so we are here in Florida keeping my niece, Alexandra occupied and watching Reid so my sister can get in some nap time - while her husband is at work - she is so blessed he is such a GOOD baby and only wakes up 1 or 2 times a night for just a few minutes - Praise the Lord!!

It's always so difficult when you're out of town -ugh! Not necessarily to eat healthy but to get on a schedule, fortunately, my sister and her family eat very healthy so that's not been a problem - a couple nights out so far, but we're good. The problem is that 3 meals a day always seems like so much when I am out of town - it's crazy, but maybe because I am so busy I am not hungry and I always feel like saying - are we eating again? Even though it's been 5 hours since I last ate. Anyway, I know how important it is to eat, so I am trying to get that straightened up. I am here for 4 weeks, so it'll be an adjustment - I sure miss all the rest of my family in Texas - but we'll be there soon.

We got passes from our Curves in Irving, so thankfully we have a curves about 5 min from my sisters house, so that is working out nicely.

Just taking a short time out from my many duties here in Gainesville, FL :) Better get back to work. I'm on a mission in more ways than 1!!

He is adorable! He doesn't look like a newborn either! He already looks older! Your blueberry background is making me hungry! My husband's grandmother in PA had blueberry bushes and had the biggest, sweetest blueberries I ever ate! Now the ones you get are small and they are so expensive!

Have a great time with your new nephew. He sure is a handsome little guy!

    Love and Blessings,
