sugar and binge free do they work together?

post if you have accomplished both or either one and which came first.All questions welcome
about these two including victories and failures(learning experiences) I found a great decrease in appetite when gave up sugar two ways to do this.When got through (sort of) binges quit after 20 years emoticon emoticon then and now binge freeeee

    I found its not only sugar but carbs in general - particularly refined carbs - and actually that agrees with most research I have read!!

    Actually, if I go sugar free without also cutting my carbs to a moderate to fairly low level, then I switch my addiction from sugar, to bingeing on carbs. In order to stay off of sugar I also have to stay off all processed foods, most especially processed carbs. But, even non-processed carbs - like corn, peas etc. - I can binge on if I don't keep my carb levels low. I am finding that the best diet for me to stop bingeing is the Paleo diet.

    When I am off of sugar, My appetite is so much less. When I slip unless it is a very very small slip I am in a world of hurt appetite wise. So I try very hard to stay away from sweets. I feel so much better when they are out of my system. Unless I am bombarded with people eating desserts in front of me I don't even miss deserts.

    Thanks for inviting me to take another look. Surprise some coaches or more team leaders hasn't chimed in..... u licked it congrats. People please remember, all are different and what worked for one might not work for all. It took me months to lick the added sugar. :)

    This is a very good question.I will be glad to share it best i can. I first took medical study of brains physical parts of along with chemicals and hormones,this is where i learned sbout the chemical serotonin(the feel good hormone of the brain i then studied pyshcology .Somewhere along the line i realized how addictions work and how alcohol,chocolate exercise and sex increase the serotonin level in our brain.Many bingers,over eaters food abuses in any form our caused by being born with a low serotinin or a level that dos not respond as we hoped for when we eat refined sugar we feel for a while mellow calm in control etc.I had a journal and wrote daily any soon realized i hungered for the feelings not the sugar.The benifits to giving up sugar are so great in the mental health,physical health and emotional the ability to say no to the need to eat what is calling us to the refrigarator for more on this see my spark page WAY TO BOTTOM left side called favorites emoticon sugar freeeee

    You have my curiosity peaked. I haven't been big on sugar, but it is part of my appetite. So how did this revelation come to you and are you willing to share it?
