Joined the sweatsuit to swimsuit competition yesterday.

A little competition never hurt anyone, plus it may be just what I need to help me focus and stay on track. So far, so good, 4x last week I made it to the gym and worked out for over an hour each time. I also walked the track on Saturday while my kids played soccer, normally I just sit on the bench. Honestly, the weekends are so busy, to get in a little exercise is a good thing. I am so glad I am back at a gym with classes. Classes help me stay at it for a whole hour. If I try to do the equipment by myself, I'm lazy. I'll do maybe a slow paced 20 minutes on the treadmill, 20 minutes on the bike and glance at the weight equipment. However, if I'm in a class I feel obligated to try and keep up with the rest of the group and this makes me work out to my full potential. I am loving the yoga classes and fitness pilates. I would like to add a barbell class next week, but will have to try to get to the gym alittle earlier, it's a very popular class. I showed up on time but the class was packed, I couldn't fit my big toe in there, so I ended up going to fitness pilates which was just as hard but in a different way. So far, I have liked all the classes and may even take a Latin fusion dance class to stretch my limits. :)
