Since last week I have been learning to paraglide again. Even though I took a 6 weeks break, I'm doing really well and my instructor says I'm not far from my first high altitude jump.
I'm even getting some great exercise. Learning this involves walking 10 minutes up a steep hill, carrying 15 kg of equipment, then running/pulling the paraglider up above your head and flying down, landing and walking back up...and I usually do about 4-5 repetitions in a day, before the weather changes and it becomes impossible to fly there. It's very strenuous, but you don't even notice because of the adrenaline rushing through your body. :)
I am slowly getting addicted to this LOL. It's such an amazing feeling to be up in the air and to be able to control where you're going. I was worried about being afraid of height, but so far it hasn't been a problem at all.
