My Set Back is Over!

Thursday, August 06, 2009

My momentary setback after my husband lost his job with GM lasted longer than I thought. Almost a little over 3 months, but here I am. It's been a rough three months getting somewhat adjusted but I think we are well on our way. We have a bigger house that we all love. The hubby has a new job that pays good and that he really likes. My stepson chose to move with us instead of staying in Michigan so we have him all the time which is such a blessing in so many ways. Speaking of my stepson, he had his first day of school today, and well me, the hubby, and the kids are loving living around family. I still can't believe that I can go visit them and go home in the same day. lol We have got to do so much with everyone! I get to go out and spend time with my mom and sister and her daughter at least once a week. And the girls......there is nothing more that they want to do then go to "Mammaw's & Pappaw's", They would stay there 24/7 if I let them. I am so glad that they are getting to spend so much time with them and make so many memories with them as neithers health is as good as it should be by a long shot.

I guess what I am trying to say that it truly was a "Blessing in disguise". I could go on and on about all of the positives and really we can't think of hardly any negatives anymore, which is a good thing!

Now I am ready to get back on track here at Spark! To all of you that left me messages, goodies, and post. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! It may take me awhile but I will get back in touch with you all!!!

I've missed ya'll!

And from the bottom of my heart...THANK YOU GENERAL MOTORS!!! emoticon LOL
