Feeling Great TODAY!

Boy do I have a lot of things to talk about today.
First of all, I'm back on track after hitting a plateau and stumbling a bit. I've managed to keep of 36 lbs since I started in Nov. and am VERY proud of that. I have been making huge steps towards my fitness goals. It may be next spring before I do the 5k and the half marathon I am aspiring towards, but I want to be fit and feel like I can do it without injuring myself. That being said when I first started I wasn't able to do a few minutes of thirty day shred without feeling like I was going to die! I still felt like I was going to die today, but I FINISHED level 1 for the first time! I am incredibly happy about that. I am smaller now than I have been in almost two years.
I'm the co-leader for the Biggest Loser Red Team, and am so happy to be a part of it. I have a lot of ideas, but most of all, I'm hoping to keep myself accountable by being a leader. By the end of the ten week stretch I'd like to weigh 183 for a total weight loss of 50 lbs. I have a total of 100 to lose, but I thought it would be rather cool to have lost 50 and kept it off for an entire year. By the end of the year or by New year's I would like to be at 180 or less. 191 will put me in the overweight category and that's something I've been looking forward to for quite a while.
In other non-weight related news, I have been doing a lot of crocheting, finishing a scarf, felting a diaper bag, many crochet amigurumis. I am currently working on an afghan for my couch, and have plans to make an afghan for my son, many crocheted Christmas presents, coffee cozies, and many charity projects. It's a new passion of mine and I'm absolutely in love with it, especially wool. Oh, and I'm currently making a purse.
I just want to say that I think each person should be true to themselves about their weight loss and goals. If you aren't telling yourself the truth, then you are cheating yourself out of the benefits of self examination and how good it really feels when you achieve a realll goal. Keep that in mind when you tell yourself that it's okay to not weigh in this week because you know you gained a lb or two.
