Stairs - Ugh!

Ok, so I hate stairs. Even with all the other improvements I see and feel, stairs still kick my butt. And this weeks all team challenge on the BLC #10 is of course, stairs! So, I figured, well I do take stairs and I could add a few into my gym workouts, so it won't be so bad. HA! It hasn't happened. I figued out I would have to sneak them in a different way.
Everyday (at least most everyday) during my two 15 minute breaks at work, I walk circles around the parking lot. I started it for a walk challenge at work because I sit all day and just wasn't getting in enough steps and I loved it, so have continued it since the challenge ended.
Today, during my laps, as I passed the curb side of the parking lot, I decided to work in some steps. I turned to face the curb and did a step up, side step, then step down and counted the steps as I went. I did 50 in one direction, and then put a U-turn at the end of the lap, so I could do 50 in the other direction. WOW! My legs were jello, my thighs were rubber! Who would have thought a few steps would add so much! But, I liked it! I think I'll do it again during this afternoon's walk.
