p90x day 69: pylometrics MY way

Sunday, September 27, 2009

As you guys already know my knee is not in any condition to do pylometrics so I did core synergistics and walked 5 miles while pushing my girls in their stroller. Aerobic exercise: mission accomplished.
I don't know if any other women suffer from this but it is my TOM and I'm really hungry all the time. It happens the week before and the week of and if i listened to it, I would not be where i am today. So I'm wondering, with all this healthy eating and exercise, why do my hormones still rage?
In any event, I stayed within my cal range and drank more than a gallon of water to keep hunger at bay. Phase III is hard because I was already planning my recovery week and realized that it's 2 weeks away. Somebody pray for me!

I find the week before my period I am hungry and I crave junk food, but when my period starts, the hunger and cravings go away. I think it's because before your period, your body is preparing for pregnancy, so you are hungry because your body thinks it needs to eat for two. I don't think healthy eating and exercise can stop the cycle of hormones, unfortunately. Although, for me, it does help with period-related pain.
