What are you doing to avoid those "CRAVINGS?"

I'm sitting here and I know downstairs on the counter is a king size bag of M&M's. My legs are telling me to go and get it because I have burned more than enough calories throughout the day. My head is saying something else......"You want to resist that bag."
What should I do? First, let's think of what I could do in order to avoid that bag. I know the biggest thing is don't buy candy if I can't control my temptations. Second, get a bottle of water and stop thinking about it or Third, take the dang candy and suck it up for another rainy day.
What did I do? I took the bottle of water but it didn't ease my mind knowing where that bag is. Second, I had to go downstairs to the kitchen to get my menu for dinner so that I could post on this website and in my mind I had made the decision to get the bag and chalk it up.
Well, I didn't get the bag. I walked right past it and came back upstairs to go to bed. Another night my resistance WON.
