Friday Morning...

Well I could see this coming...I gained 3 pounds this week. Of course I wanted to see a loss, but with my back spasm getting the best of me since Monday, my exercise was not as much and overall it just was a really tough week. I'm bummed, but I'm also ok with this, it is what it is and I'm not going anywhere. Hopefully this coming week will be better!

Have any of you had weight gains in a week on your journey so far?

    Yes...and I can confidently say that virtually everyone here on SP has as well. Again, focus on the journey...What did you learn this week and what steps are you going to take with what you learned?

    Oh yes, I have had those kinda days! I have found other ways of measuring my success though and that reaally has helped me. Like, for example, tracking everything that goes into my mouth and coming to SparkPeople.com every day. Consistency pays off because it changes habits.

    When I have these times...I focus on what I am doing that's good. Like eating healthy food, or adding an exercise to my day. You can do simple things like squats or wall pushups anytime.
