11/5/09 Can-do Spirit, Get-it-done Body

Thursday, November 05, 2009

How about that phrase? Does it resonate with you, too? It's from a Dodge truck commercial that I heard for the first time last night. It made such an impact that I printed it in 72 font, made 3 copies, and posted them in my bedroom, bathroom and kitchen (I spend most of my time there). That's how I feel, even though my physical body is letting me down just now.

Love that! I really gotta tell myself that about now...got a new scale...HATE the number on it. Been busting my BUTT to take this weight off! Don't understand it. And to top it off I'm sick and really trying to push myself. I think I'll make this my mantra for today as I drag my butt to work!

Glad things are working out for you! Hope all goes well with your surgeries! Keep us posted! O, and good luck with your daughter's speeding ticket! I think sometimes they have a quota to meet towards the end of a month and pull people over ridiculously!

There's no doubt about your can-do spirit, Trece. And your body will be getting it done, too, very soon. You are a strong woman to deal with constant pain and see what CAN be rather than what IS at the moment. I have faith in you and for you! --Marsha

It's a great mantra. And I'm so glad Timmy is better.

I hope you will get the treatment you need soon, so you can get back on your feet and life can return to normal. At least until the next crisis. LOL!
