Sparkin' it up on a Saturday Morning.
Feeling good, plugging away - big lesson learned and hopefully it will stick.
*If I don't get the amount of carbs and fats in one day, I over eat the next day and not because I'm a "fat loser" but because my body is hungry...I was able to go over last weeks nutrition tracking with my coach and we could see clearly that it was very much this up-down, up-down pattern...so it might seem or be obvious to many people - but it reminded me of how I used to behave with food for most of my adult life so far. I would work all day, drink coffee, use tobacco - I used to use drugs and alcohol too - not eat anything all day and then gorge on carbs, fats & sugar foods at the end of my day...obviously really screwing up my metabolism and underneath all of this kind of behavior some really broken beliefs and thinking.
So it was really good to see and learn that it's not "a good" thing for my calories to be super low one day because the day before was a little high, as this will just continue into the next day with the up and down pattern. Not sure if I'm explaining this clearly, but it was a real good insight for me.
Everything is changing....and I'm really excited to continue on this path of finally being kind to myself and taking care of myself the way that I deserve!
