Tuesday Morning...

Feeling good this morning!

Looking forward to a decent walk to get some solid cardio in today. Had a nice walk yesterday and the last 4 days I've been doing sets of 20 modified sit-ups...it's pretty tough for me to get up and down off the floor - so I've figured out a good way to start building on that to strengthen my back and core muscles.

My wife said my face looked thinner today than the picture on my sparkspage!

Super busy and banging it out, the last 3 or 4 days have been really excellent and right in the sweet spot on my ranges. I'm feeling less obsessed about the weigh-in, or how much will I lose...maybe just from being super busy, but I think it's more that I'm not feeling as desperate and scared. I'm feeling much more confident in myself following the plan and being successful and I'm feeling much more ok and comfortable with that this is for the long haul and that my lifestyle is changing!

    Nothing to fear in that scale. Ever. Fear only that inner demon that says to stop and grab a Costco sized bag of Doritos for a workout recovery snack. *me stops to beat my own demon for even letting me type that*

    Just being aware of yourself and finding measurable progress you can see here and elsewhere is far more important than what a simple measurement of your mass can show you. I know, typical SP banter, but seriously the ability to track your efforts make it far easier for you to challenge yourself than anything else I've ever imagined. Of course, I would have to agree that lacking imagination in some areas of self reflection is what got me into my own mess in the first place. ;)
