Life is zooming...(pics)

WOW! WOW! WOW! Life is zooming right now, and I have kinda spun out of control. Last week was my TOM. This weekend was a Christmas party AND a overnight in the city with my hubby for his b-day which included eating out, movie food, alcohol...you get the idea. Last night I went to a cookie party. Tis the season!




Work is the main problem. I'm working 10 to 12 hour days with little to no break times for proper nutrition. This started last week and will go for another two. This is a major problem because I wind up snacking on the first thing I can find and I'm already feeling like I'm softening up. Eek. I'm also feeling tried and not wanting to get up to workout out.

I got on the scale this am and was at 130...my trigger number! I told myself no matter what I will never go above 130 again. So I went downstairs to workout out. Let me tell you that in just a few days I noticed a HUGE difference. I was struggling. My regular workout was hard. I even felt a little sick to my stomach, and had to take breaks and let it pass. What am I gonna do? I'm going to Ottawa to see hubby family and I want to look amazing. But I don't want to be frazzled and over tired! SO I've made a plan.

First I'm going to automate my meals meaning I'm going to eat pretty much the same things everyday for the rest of the week. As a matter of fact I've prepared it all so all I have to do is heat and eat. I know that diet is 80% of my success so I'm really going to focus here. All clean eating and I mean 100%. You can read my food log if you want to see what I'm going to have.

Next I'm cutting back on the exercise. Working such long hours I'm not getting to bed early enough to be able to get up a 5:30am like I normally do and sleep is important. Instead of one hour a day I'm going to do 30 min, 3 days weights full body and 3 days cardio, and not feel guilty about it.

My goal is to get back to 127 and to be at 125 by Dec 21...the day I leave for vacation. I'm going to try to log on and stay connected as much as possible. I have a plan, now all I've got to do is stick to it!

    Yikes, a cookie party sounds SO full of temptation. You look amazing. Your strategies are awesome - easy to follow, fit into the real world, and they sound like they'll be quite effective. Very inspiring to read!

    I really l ike the phrase 'trigger weight' Sounds like you have a great maintenance plan. I am already trying to develop a plan for maintenance because I think that is when it really gets tough! KEep up the great work - hope your week of commitment pays off and you get down to 127 be vaca!

    Good plan! I like that you know what works for you and are able to apply it in tough times. That's very important and I'm sure you will succeed. Knowledge truly is power!

    We should all know way to well that when we stretch ourselves to thin, the weight either comes back on or just won't move! Great job on recognizing this!

    For the past 2 days, I am having a real hard time getting in the workouts I so desire and I was feeling guilty about it, but my body is telling me something and I need to listen to it! So the scale isn't where it should be, but it is going to get there....just a little slower than we'd like!

    Take care of yourself and you are gonna be at your 125 in no time!!

    You really inspire me. I have a lot of weight to lose and I "fantasize" about how I will keep myself accountable when I do reach my goal. You have made it realistic for me.
