My first measurments & saying goodbye to fast food!

Saturday, December 19, 2009

Well Today I FINALLY found the tape measure. Not that it is an excuse to not measure. I Got it and recorded all my measurements. Yippee I feel so good I did it! So now I can watch my inches melt away now! How exciting huh!

For this week I am going to add a eliminating one bad habit. That is eating FAST FOOD! Yep no more!!! I think it is getting out of hand for me. I see too many bags in my car from fast food and I have been in my car way too much lately. I am going to try to make healthier choices at lunch time. NO MATTER WHAT. I have to stop with the excuses get out of the car and pick up some groceries. Hey and it is more active too. getting out of the car and going for a walk into the store.

So I say it. NO MORE FAST FOOD! NO MORE FAST FOOD! NO MORE FAST FOOD! okay done. Fast food ain't going to make me thin so I don't need to eat it!

Good luck with your new program of food buying and prep. Here are a couple of suggestions: 1. Eat lots of fresh fruits and veggies. 2. Get a crock pot and throw in some chicken stock and whatever veggies you have around. You could add a small amt. of barley, rice, noodles, beans, or rice too. The veggie soup will cook itself in a few hours. It is very filling and a good winter meal. You can even freeze some of the soup in serving size containers for future use. Heat in microwave or in a pot. Yummy! emoticon emoticon emoticon
