Nutrition Tracking...oops

Tuesday, February 09, 2010

I let myself neglect nutrition tracking daily and that became a problem. When I track my food either at night or early morning I have a clear plan in my head for the day ahead. For a couple weeks I let that slide on my list of priorities and it has shown. I got sloppy in counting those little things that can creep in way too easily. I realized today that this could really lead to some severe overeating if I let it. So I kick started my tracking and will definitely keep it high on my daily priorities.

I have been doing the same, skipping the tracking. Today I'm back to logging again. I'm going for a streak of 7 days in a row. We'll see how that goes!

Tracking is so important, without it I do not hold myself completely accountable. Good for you! emoticon

How great is it that you caught yourself and jumped back on track! I have done this two times before in the past and got so frustrated that I left SparkPeople for a time. (This is my 3rd go-around!)
We all know how to eat right and exercise, but there are so many other aspects to it...peer support, keeping track and the almighty learning curve on foods and habits (good and bad.)
You are a very determined lady and I have no doubt that you will be successful (in whatever you do!) - JD :)
