Saturday Morning...

Hey Good Morning!

My glucose was @119 this morning...always good to see that.

It's a beautiful snow-dusted morning here in Madison, up early hammering through all the wonderful comments, e-mails of support I got yesterday from the SP interview....really, just trying to get my mind around and process all of this encouragement. Thank you!

A busy morning for me, several hours of work at my desk, going to get going here shortly and bang out my morning cardio and then today for strength training...it's Legs day, so some work with my res. bands, squats, lateral side kicks, side steps, sets of Isometric squeeze & contract. Tonight I'll do another cardio session after dinner.

The last few days have been a much more focused/reduced meal plan...so far so good...tracking my day ahead really helps me to see the day and have a better comfort level with what I'm going to eat & drink and when.

I hope everyone has a really Smooth Saturday! emoticon

emoticon Congratulations, on your successes, including being named a SparkMotivator! What an accomplishment!

I am so glad that you are already feeling increased energy from participating in the SparkPeople program. It's wonderful when the mental part of this new healthy lifestyle becomes as important as the weight loss portion.

    I am proud of you!

As I sit here trying to talk myself to get back on the elliptical which I haven’t visited in over a week I read your story and blogs. Thank you for sharing your story as it is inspirational. If you can do I can do it, I’ll start the elliptical back up today.

    you are....... emoticon

You are such an inspiration I am going to subscribe to your blog and keep up with your progress. I see that you have a "legs" day. This may be a great idea--to divide up your exercise so that there's not so much to do on one day. Okay--I'm off to the Nordic Track and my knee exercises. Once again, thanks so much for sharing.

I can understand to a degree how overwhelmed you are by all the comments, messages and Goodies. I was Team Member of the Week once and it took a good two to three days to read and respond to everyone. You can do it, take your time.

    Take care and stay healthy

Have a wonderful day. I like to put my food in the tracker at least a day ahead. This last week, I haven't because I have had my grandson all week. Time to get back to it LOL. I am rooting for you to win and I know you can do it.

Have a great Saturday yourself -- sounds like you have a good plan for the day. Hope your new/reduced (I like the word "focused") calorie intake goes well. I find that very hard to do -- my body rebels -- but maybe it is my mind rebelling too. The food tracker is a great tool, one of my favs on SP. I will be thinking of you as I try to rein in my calories today too. Kathleen
