There are times in life when your intentions are misunderstood. It doesn't matter why or how it gets that way but only what you choose to do in response.

I don't like to tell people much about my self. It leaves me feeling vulnerable or ashamed of things in my life. Today I was pushed beyond my comfort zone.

Typically this would make it easy to run away, hide, agree I was wrong and bury my face. This time I am trying very hard to keep my head raised despite the disapproval.

I choose to see this as an opportunity to be brave and refocus on why I came back, to help others in DwD. Through helping others we ultimately help ourselves.

Thanks for making your voice heard for a new member to the team who doesn't have any of the history. I understand that feeling of vulnerability and shame. I hope you can move beyond them and this sounds like a good step. I love my new found strength and the reality that the same belongs to the perpetrator, not me!

Lulu, I think you're terrific and I'm very glad you came back. I second HELLOKITTY70 -- I'm here if you want to vent or talk.
