So, I did some calculating and came up with some numbers.

My basic metabolic rate (BMR) is 1689.7 calories. This is what my body burns each day just by being alive. Because I now lead an active lifestyle, working out 5 times a week, that ups my BMR to 2619.04 calories per day.

Now, I eat about 1600 calories a day, and I need at least 2619.04 to maintain weight. My deficeit per day is 1019.14 calories, or 7133.28 per week. That equates to a loss of 2.04 pounds per week. Healthy weight loss at its finest.

As far as exercise goes, I burn about 250 calories daily. If I add that to what I burn just by walking around, it comes out to something like 1939.7 calories burned daily. If I make the equation weekly, then I burn about 13.577.9 calories per week, with diet and exercise. This equates to 3.87 pounds per week. Less healthy, but the formulas are not perfect.

If I want to lose 30 pounds, at 2 pounds per week, it will take me about 15 weeks. Not too shabby.
