Danielle had her baby (Hazel Lee) on March 8th about 11:20PM. She went home on 3/11. Hazel has been in 3 photo shoots. 2 of them were done by a local photographer just starting out. The 3rd photo shoot was done by a professional photographer who needed newborn babies for a photo shoot. Hazel seems to be held most of the time because there are always so many people around.
The puppies are growing and have their eyes open now. I had forgotten how fast they grow.
While my Oncologist was on vacation, I had a bad infection and was in the hospital for 4 days. The reading of my CT Scan said the tumor had grown almost twice the size of the first scan. When I saw my Oncologist Thursday he pulled both scans up on the computer and measured them. He said it had not grown so this was good news. I am still on the same meds for Chemo. I still only take one morphine and one nausea pill per day. It seems like I only have to take more than one pill once or twice a week. The dr is still surprised by this. Hopefully things will continue as they have been.
Your prayers and good thoughts are certainly appreciated and I honestly believe they are helping.

    Oh Ramona!
I pray that the LORD JESUS will touch you and heal you miraculously (and the doctors will KNOW that God showed up and showed off!) NOW! Please, Lord Jesus, heal her body so she can see her granddaughter grow up, finish college, and marry and start her own family. Amen! emoticon

I have been away from SP for a month or so, and was wondering how you are doing. Congratulations on the birth or your grandbaby, and also the puppies. I hope you are taking good care of yourself and are feeling good to be able to celebrate Easter with your family. I pray God will continue to strengthen you through this treatment, and that it will be effective in destroying the cancer. May His strong hands keep you in His perfect will and carry you through victoriously!

Congratulations Squirtzie on your new grandaughter. She is darling. I hope Danielle is feeling OK and is getting her strength back.
What a careless thing for that doctor to say. I am glad he was wrong. Your a string lady and you can beat this.
The puppies are adorable. I wish you the best of luck with them. I so miss having a puppy.
Thanks for the update. Stay well and stay strong. Hugs, Judy

It is wonderful that you have amazing things like your new granddaughter and a batch of new puppies to cheer your heart on your tough medical odyssey!

And a great big ' Boo Hiss' to the doc who felt compelled to say 'it' was getting bigger when it really wasn't.

emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon to you. Isn't it great to be in the spring time surrounded by God's promise to us all?

Congratulations on the new granddaughter! She's beautiful. Danielle must be so glad she's not pregnant anymore and so relieved to have a healthy baby girl.

    Take care.

Glad to hear you are doing so well considering! My mom took many, many pills several times a day during and after her chemo. It made her extremely tired and she would forget things a lot. She didn't want to eat much either. For some reason, Oriental was the only thing she enjoyed and it wasn't any specific dish. Maybe it was the vitamins in the numerous veggies. Anyway, glad to hear yours is, from the sounds of it, going better. So sorry to hear that you are going through this hardship when you would be so happy about becoming a grandmother. You still have my prayers.

Congratulations on your new grandbaby, she's darling! As always, you're in my thoughts and prayers and just know that tumor is going to go far, far away! My mom had kidney cancer and we always used to tell her when she was going through treatment to think of the chemo as marching soldiers going in to destroy that nasty cancer! Stay strong and fight hard friend! Sending big hugs your way!
