Front Butt and Back Fat, BE GONE!

Friday, March 26, 2010

Last Christmas, I signed several of my gifts from me to my husband "FB and BF". Meaning, front butt and back fat. I had reached an all time low. It was gross, I hated it, me and my family decided to do something about our ever growing out of shape selves. We all set goals, I actually blogged about it a few months ago, we were all so excited. Well, none of us stuck to any of our plans. It was pathetic.

Finally, last month, my brother and I decided we were over it. We didn’t want to be out of shape anymore. I had no energy, didn’t feel good about myself at all. My clothes all were so tight I could barely breathe. I’d had enough! So we started the P90X program on February 28th. I actually missed the first workout because I couldn’t get the timing to work out that day. At that point, I thought, well, I’ll just do 3-4 workouts a week. Well, when I did Plyometrics that first Monday, I was hooked. I actually had fun, even though it was darn near impossible for me. However, I felt so freaking good after the workout!

I dropped an initial 6 pounds, but gained two back and I’ve continued to hover there from week 2 on. I’ve been frustrated and a little disappointed, but I’ve just kept at it, not missing one workout and eating well….not perfect, but well.

Today, I think I’ve reached a breaking point. No, I haven’t lost anymore weight, but you know what!? My front butt is disappearing! And so is my back fat! I actually feel a little bit…..*gasp*…..svelte! Now, by NO MEANS is my tummy flat, and my hips are still quite heavily padded, but goodness sakes….I’m seeing a difference. Actually SEEING it! Talk about motivation! GO ME!

    Yes... Go you!! emoticon

That's one of the things I love about weight training, and P90X in particular. You might not see fabulous numbers on the scale, but the stuff that drives you crazy like the front butt and back fat are MELTING!

    Keep up the good work!
